GutGuide has developed a new oral health-promoting product for cats and dogs. The principal of operation is similar to our ToothGuide products. Specific lactic acid bacteria replace gingivitis -causing bad bacteria in the mouth. PetGuide -lactic acid bacteria powder is odourless and tasteless and even cats approve of it. In the mouth the powder forms a gel-like structure, which helps the bacteria stay in the mouth.
The product was studied on cats (9) and dogs (8), which used the product for 4-5 weeks scattered on top of food. The use of PetGuide significantly decreased the number of gingivitis -causing bacteria.
