GutGuide® BifidoMAX chocolate bar contains 73% cacao and 2000 million live Bifidobacterium lactis BLC1, Lactobacillus rhamnosus SPI lactic acid bacteria and at least 54 mg of chocolate’s natural phenolic compounds.
Bifidobacteria and lactobacilli added to chocolate are useful strains suitable for sensitive intestine. BifidoMAX chocolate is an alternative product to GutGuide®ProVillus bacterial supplement. 2 pieces of chocolate contain enough beneficial bacteria for gut per day.
When the cocoa content of chocolate is over 70%, the proportion of beneficial nutrients and compounds such as minerals (magnesium), polyphenols, and flavonoids is high. Additionally, when chocolate is prepared at a low temperature (known as the raw chocolate manufacturing process), all the natural nutrients of chocolate remain unchanged, and the added probiotics stay vibrant throughout the entire shelf life of the chocolate. Cocoa butter also protects the bacteria, keeping them alive as they pass through the acidic conditions of the stomach into the gut.
GutGuide®BifidoMAX chocolate is sweetened with coconut palm sugar, which does not rapidly raise blood sugar levels. In one bar (36 g), there are only 213 kcal.
