GutGuide®ProMood chocolate

Description

GutGuide® ProMood dark chocolate contains at least 73 % cacao and one bar contains 2000 million live Lactobacillus plantarum P8 ja Bifidobacterium lactis BPL1 bacteria and 67 mg* chocolate’s natural magnesium. (*18% of the recommended daily dose).

ProMood chocolate´s magnesium promotes normal energy metabolism and the added bifidobacteria are beneficial strains belonging to the normal microflora of the gut. ProMood chocolate is an alternative product to GutGuide®ProMood bacterial supplement.

When the cocoa content of chocolate is over 70%, the proportion of beneficial nutrients and compounds such as minerals (magnesium), polyphenols, and flavonoids is high. Additionally, when chocolate is prepared at a low temperature (known as the raw chocolate manufacturing process), all the natural nutrients of chocolate remain unchanged, and the added probiotics stay vibrant throughout the entire shelf life of the chocolate. Cocoa butter also protects the bacteria, keeping them alive as they pass through the acidic conditions of the stomach into the gut.

GutGuide®ProMood chocolate is sweetened with coconut palm sugar, which does not rapidly raise blood sugar levels. In one bar (48 g), there is 9 pieces. One piece contains 66 kcal.
