GutGuide®ProDiet chocolate

Description

GutGuide® ProDiet dark chocolate contains at least 73 % cacao and one bar contains 2000 million live Bifidobacterium lactis BPL1-bacteria, at least 54 mg of chocolate’s natural phenolic compounds as well as *57 mg of magnesium. (*15% of the recommended daily dose).

ProDiet chocolate´s magnesium promotes normal energy metabolism and the added bifidobacteria are beneficial strains belonging to the normal microflora of the gut. ProDiet chocolate is an alternative product to GutGuide®ProDiet  bacterial powder.

When the cocoa content of chocolate is over 70%, the proportion of beneficial nutrients and compounds such as minerals (magnesium), polyphenols, and flavonoids is high. Additionally, when chocolate is prepared at a low temperature (known as the raw chocolate manufacturing process), all the natural nutrients of chocolate remain unchanged, and the added probiotics stay vibrant throughout the entire shelf life of the chocolate. Cocoa butter also protects the bacteria, keeping them alive as they pass through the acidic conditions of the stomach into the gut.

GutGuide®ProDiet chocolate is sweetened with coconut palm sugar, which does not rapidly raise blood sugar levels. In one bar (36 g), there are only 213 kcal.

Product information:

Cold pressed cocoa bean, Coconut palm sugar, cold pressed cocoa butter, B. lactis BLC1, L. rhamnosus SP1, corn starch. At least 73 % cocoa.

Storage: Viable in room temperature until best before date. Store out of the reach of small children.
