GutGuide® ProVillus50+ and ProBifido combination for a sensitive, ageing gut.
As we age the gut microbiota changes gradually and especially the numbers of bifidobacteria decrease. This adverse change can be addressed with diet and bacterial supplements but the effects are always personal. For example the effects of different bifidobacteria vary significantly from person to person.
GutGuide® ProVillus50+ probiotic supplement has been developed to be suited to as many consumers as possible and it contains three different strains of bifidobacteria and two lactobacillus strain: Bifidobacterium bifidum SP9, Bifidobacterium Breve SP85, Bifidobacterium lactis BLC1 + Lactobacillus rhamnosus SP1 and Lactobacillus paracasei NTU10.
ProVillus50+ contains only the freeze dried powder of lactic acid bacteria and maltodextrin isolated from corn works as a carrier. No additives or artificial aromas. The powder can be mixed as desired for example to cold drinks, dairy products, juice or other beverage or food. The beverage or food protects the viability of the bacteria until they reach the gut. The powder cannot be mixed to hot food or drink as the bacteria do not tolerate heat.
One sachet contains (2 g) 4000 million bacteria which is a sufficient daily dose.

GutGuide® ProBifido is 95% corn based soluble xylo-oligosaccharide (XOS). XOS is utilized in the colon by gut microbiota and feeds beneficial bifidobacteria and faecalibacteria.
Recommended daily dose of XOS fiber is 0,7-1,5g. Daily dose does not cause side effects such as flatulence or bloating which are common side effects of other oligo-saccharides. In nature XOS appears in vegetables, honey and corn from which it is usually isolated from.
The taste of ProBifido prebiotic is slightly sweet and it can be mixed with any food or beverage.
